Corner View is a weekly appointment - each Wednesday - created by Jane of Spain Daily, where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme. If you'd like to join in, please leave a link to your Corner View post in the comments below, and be sure to visit other participants too.
Many thanks to Kristin for the theme today!
What I saw in my garden, after a few days spent away on travels, made me very happy indeed: the first strawberries were ripe and ready for our return (to an empty fridge, and to a giving garden). But what made me even happier was the first anemone - not food, but nourishment for the spirit.
Indigo-purple, with a large center of black stamens with a hint of eggplant color, it is possibly the most striking flower I've ever seen. And it's growing right outside my windows!
The theme next week is "pretty eyesore" (I know, it's an oxymoron, but an interesting challenge I hope). Dana, would you please choose a theme for the following Wednesday, and e-mail me? Thank you!
Happy corner viewing!
