This little kitchen of ours has been a very busy place on this last Sunday of Advent. We baked and baked: a little sugar-frosted forest of Christmas trees, made from stacked star-shaped cookies, that we'll be gifting to our neighbors; a loaf of winter bread - with whole wheat, farro and kamut flours, oat and cornmeal, and mixed seeds and walnuts - that we decorated with stars. And we also baked two pizzas - because pizza is always in season!
