It's been raining steadily for the last couple of days: a persistent drizzle that sometimes grows to a downpour, which has brought down most of the yellowing leaves from the trees, and left them bare. But just a day before the rain started, we went for a walk in the woods to collect pine cones (which we use as fire-starters), and found ourselves in a different kind of rain. As a breeze made the treetops dance far above, yellow leaves rained down on us, making a gentle fluttering music. We stopped and listened in amazement at this autumnal shower - this autumnal show.
