I bought a fresh-caught squid from the fishmonger by the beach, cleaned it (it's messy!), managed to carefully remove the ink sacs without making them burst (thank goodness it wasn't messy this time!), and made risotto al nero di seppia, ink-black risotto with white(ish) sauteed squid.
