Our new addition to the garden:
Ms Scarecrow!
(Last time it was Mr Scarecrow, so this time we made it a Ms)
Her job is to keep all the horned and tusked wild beasts that roam the woods - mainly deer and boar - away from the area in the garden where the lettuce, chard and French beans are growing so nicely. Her presence makes me feel better about still not having fenced in our garden ...
So far, it's mostly us that she's scaring, because we're still not used to her being there to protect our veggies.
