This is the front door of my sewing machine case:
When I announced in despear that my sewing machine was broken, Rebecca told me with her little mommy-like voice "Don't worry, mamma can fix it!" I love it that my 3-year-old knows that broken things don't just get replaced - you try to fix them.
And this is the inside of my sewing machine:

Mamma, it turned out, wasn't the right person to fix the sewing machine. When the nice lady at the repair shop took it out of its case, it was dripping with oil: in my desperate attempt to fix the sewing machine I'd overdone the lubrication, and almost killed the motor!
