When you pop your New Year's cork, you can make the cutest miniature chair with your champagne wire: a fun little project to start a new year of making simple things out of, well, waste (how-to here)!
We've already popped a cork, because we had a doll house short on furnishings, two boys eager to use pliers, a wooden lady in a brand new red crochet dress in need of a chair (we also gave her a pine cone & berry tree, a doily rug and an acorn beret) ... and two parents willing to make the sacrifice of drinking a glass or two of champagne ahead of time (prosecco, actually)!
